The Finca Cortesin Hotel on the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain is one of the most beautiful properties that I've worked with in my hospitality career. Independently owned by a single family from Madrid, it was opened last year. Elegant, exclusive with an attention to detail that I have rarely seen, it was truly an honor to work with team members from many departments. It was thrilling to know that the day after I left Spain, Conde Nast Traveller Magazine awarded the Finca Cortesin its Gold Award for the best non-urban hotel in the country.
